Pop-up magazine: Fall issue 2020

Composition and arrangement for comedian Aida Osman’s piece about humor in a time of pandemic isolation and national reckoning of civil rights and social justice. Featuring an all-star band: Wynne Bennet on keyboards (Janelle Monáe, Twin Shadow, HAIM), Dave Chiverton on drums (Jon Secada, Lauryn Hill, Nu Jive) and Dion Kerr on bass (Ignacio Berroa, Tal Cohen, Mwenso & The Shakes). Additional keyboard, percussion and soundscape recording by myself.

Guava.love - songwriting: DEMOS & prototypes

My first foray into “pop/indie” songwriting and production. I took the opportunity one cold January to focus on writing/creating/recording/singing songs and stretch my creative muscles in ways I had never done on my own before. This was one of the most enlightening and personally rewarding creative endeavors I’ve every taken on. It was an utterly joyous adventure in self-discovery and expression.
